The Mount Hope Monitor is a non-profit community newspaper serving the west Bronx neighborhoods of Mount Hope, Morris Heights, South Fordham, and University Heights.

It is published by the Bronx News Network, a nonprofit organization founded by Mosholu Preservation Corporation and the Norwood News to provide news and information in underserved communities.

BxNN also publishes the Tremont Tribune and runs the Bronx Youth Journalism Initiative.

Originally, the Monitor was an online-only publication, but since March 2007 a bilingual (Spanish and English) print edition has been published. At this time the paper is published monthly.

The Monitor is delivered to more than 90 locations in the area, including:
